March 15th on the approach, this means that Family
Banquet is almost here. This is where our Lodge is
presented with all of the awards of the past year
and also its members are honored for their service
and dedication. Special awards are awarded, such as
57 Hours Award, Team Enda, Quality Chapter award,
Founder’s Award, Silver Acorn, and this years Vigil
Class. There will be members from all over giving
us all a great opportunity to meet them. You may
even get to meet the new officers that will be
installed from the January election. So come out
one and all, bring your families, show everyone
what our Lodge has accomplished and what we strive
to do in 2008.

With 2008 being the Lodge’s 15th anniversary, this is our year to do great things. Remember to stay an active, honored Brother. The best way to get involved is to join a committee, get involved in your chapter, or assist your troop out. Find an outlet that you are interested in to help the Scouting movement and the ideals of camping. If you need suggestions or would like to find out exactly what you can do, let me know. The Lodge can find a position or job that suits to your skills.
As a reminder for all of those that have not heard. This year we have a special deal to encourage payment of your annual dues on time. All Brothers that pay their dues by the deadline, March 31 2008, will receive a special limited edition 15th anniversary patch. The only way to get this patch is to pay your annual dues on time.
