James T. Gralka

James T. (JT) Gralka was born September 20, 1989. He is the son of Charles and Janet Gralka of Upper St. Clair Township, PA. The Gralka family owns and operates the Joe Labriola Sausage Company and The Uncommon Market specialty grocery store. JT assists his parents in the operation of these family businesses.

JT is a Senior at Upper St. Clair High School. He is scheduled to graduate in June, 2008. He plans to attend college next year—probably in the Pittsburgh area so that he can continue His scouting activities. JT is very active in many aspects of scouting. He is an Assistant Scoutmaster in charge of Troop Guides in Troop 4 at St. Louise de Marillac parish in Upper St. Clair. He is also Inductions Chairman of Enda Lechauhanne Lodge #57. JT has served the Lodge in a variety of positions since becoming a member in June, 2002. He served as Conestoga Chapter Chief in 2006- 2007. Most recently, JT has is the newly elected Vice Chief of Chapter Operatrions for the Lodge.

JT began his Scouting career as a Tiger Cub in September 1996. He was active in all levels of the Cub Scout program, and earned his Arrow Of Light in March 2001. He crossed over into Troop 366 in Upper St. Clair where he progressed through the Scouting ranks. In 2004, Life Scout JT Gralka transferred to Troop 4. While at Troop 4 jt has performed enthusiastically in a variety of leadership positions. He was Troop OA Representative, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. He also served on the Summer Camp staff at Heritage Reservation in 2006 (Scout Craft Instructor) and 2007 (Liberty OA Coordinator). JT attended the 2005 National Jamboree where he served his jamboree troop as Patrol Leader.

JT became an Eagle Scout on December 17, 2006. Since attaining the rank of Eagle Scout he has earned the Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms and holds a total of 36 merit badges.
