Angelo joined Boy Scouts in 1970 and was a Scout till 1977 achieving the rank of Eagle in 1976. During that time he also completed his Ordeal.
Angelo returned to Scouting in 1998 as an Assistant Cubmaster of Pack 98 and then Cubmaster in 1999. Since 1999m he has served as Scoutmaster of Troop 679 and finds time to attend Order Of The Arrow functions as often as possible, completing his Brotherhood in 2000.
Angelo has been a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years and is currently Assistant Chief of the Beuna Vista Volunteer Fire Company. Following a past hurricane, he was acknowledged by the Elizabeth Township Police for assisting in the rescue of a man in the Yough River during the resulting flood.
Angelo has been the Booster’s President for the Elizabeth Forward High School Swim Team for the last two years and is a Level 2 Swimming Official. he has also been involved in the YMCA for many years.
Angelo is a member of Saint Michael’s Church in Elizabeth and is married with two children - a son in collage who is also an Eagle Scout and a daughter in high school.
Angelo is employed at the Jefferson Medical Center as a Clinical Engineer and Bio Team Leader
Angelo has been a dedicated Scout leader and OA Brother working with the OA service crew during the 2002 Conclave and as a member of the Heritage Reservation Roofing Team.
